How we make it...
The Sóller Valley, located on Mallorca’s northwest coast and sheltered by the Tramuntana mountains is a magic place.
Thanks to its unique terroir it is the centre of citrus cultivation in Mallorca since more than 1000 years.
The Sóller Valley is the original home of the highly aromatic Canoneta orange, considered the “queen of oranges”.
Carefully crafted by Antonio Nadal, Mallorca’s oldest and most renown distillery, the Canoneta essence is blended with white wine and refined with a secret selection of herbs from our beautiful island.
How to drink it...
Canonita is dangerously good. Enjoyed pure on ice, as a classic spritz or with tonic, Canonita is the perfect aperitif as well as a wonderful all-night companion.

Christof is CEO of Rotkäppchen-Mumm, Germany’s sparkling, wine, and spirits giant. He is extremely well connected in the industry and a very busy man. Now and then you might see him on (and off) a ski slope in Switzerland. Despite his tight schedule Christof will never miss the chance to enjoy a glass of wine or a Canonita with his friends.
Christoph Meier
Having managed Germany’s leading wine distributor for over 20 years, Christoph has a lot of experience in international wines and spirits. Today he is much more relaxed, enjoying his family home in Mallorca and fun projects like Canonita.
Carl-Lambert Leisewitz
Carl is partner of „Fet a Sóller“- Mallorca’s leading marketer of oranges and fine food - and owner of the German fine-food company Laux. Carl describes himself as a “foody”. His orange ice cream is cult across the island.
We are Christof, Christoph, Xavier and Carl-Lambert. We are friends, have a long standing background in the wine and spirit industry and we love our island.
